This book is very much like a dictionary of the British Army in WW1

This book is very much like a dictionary of the British Army in WW1. It briefly covers a myriad of topics, in a somewhat similar fashion to Haythornthwaites WW1 source book, and as a consequence I found it an excellent reference book. It is thorough, and being a reference style book is a great starting point for information. If it is more detailed specifics then other books go into more detail as this covers such a wide range in an abbreviated fashion. It is nicely presented and I find it an excellent book.
