Save a horse, ride a cowboy (love that song *winks*)

First of all the book is a quick read. I got it this morning and 3hrs later I'm done. Now, this is not to say the book is lacking. Oh no, far from it. the premise is great (brother of adopted father falls for 'niece'). The heroine has had a thing for her 'uncle' for years. The sex is hot, the angst is great. Other than a couple of editing issues (nothing major, just a wrong tensed word here and there / editing is done by humans after all and can't be perfect) the book is spot on fantastic.

A question to the author? Will others in the book get their HEA?

Passion everywhere.

I liked very much this story. It has cowboys, a very smart young lady, a touch of forbidden, and a lot of passion.

Axton and Tia have a complicated platonic relationship until a weekend in a hotel room changes everything. They both give in to their desire and the temperature goes from 60 to 120 in less time it took for them to be naked. Their passion and devotion held me captive until the last word. Awesome book, great job Sassie....!! Can't wait to read more about this family specially about a certain twin that shares with certain buddy of his...!!

Wonderful Romantic Adventure by Ashe Barker

Once I started this marvelous book I couldn't put it down. I won't give details about the story as its layed out very well in the overview. It had amazing insights into the main characters feelings and emotions as well as the interesting secondary characters. It's a page turner that I didn't want to end but when it did, I was compleatly satisfied with the ending. There are elements of BDSM, mystery, suspence, danger, spanking and a beautiful romance. I was given an advanced reader copy for an honest review.

You don't want to miss this book!!

I absolutely loved this book!! What a great story!! Victoria is such a strong woman, by necessity unfortunately, but she more then holds her own in her attempt to take care of her mother and sister. I have to say I didn't care for Adam at the beginning of their 'relationship', however as the story progressed he more than redeemed himself. Great book!! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

great tension and lots of heat!

Great read! I'll start by saying that Ashe Barker has clearly done her homework; the book feels completely at ease in the setting, and all the details make you believe you're living in the world and times of past years. Victoria and Adam have a fiercely powerful sexual tension going from the very beginning. I admired the way Ms. Barker developed the characters and their dominant/submissive relationship. Rather than have it be a simple, "do this because I own you" dictate from Adam, she went into the psychology behind the desires to submit and dominate, and made the power exchange fluid and believable between two people who enjoy it. I also love that she had Victoria enter into the relationship because she fully wanted it, and that there WAS a choice -- it makes the whole dynamic more realistic and enjoyable. I won't give away the plot, but I will say that the steamy scenes are OH MY GOD hot.

An interesting story of British colonialism by the first professional female author.

Aphra Behn is usually considered the first professional female writer so just for that reason, it's worth trying out her writing. This particular story is about an African prince who is kidnapped into slavery. It's touching and sad. It's seems to have a lot of political overtones about the state of British colonialism. It can be read as a commentary on slavery or racism but that's probably not what she was meaning to say considering the time period in which she wrote. It's a quick read but there were a few places where I did have to go back and reread because of the more archaic style of writing. All in all, not difficult to read if you are use to reading older literature and worth the trouble as a piece of British literary history.

Oblivion by Jessica Wood is a standalone romance. Oblivion is a great read it will have you laughing and sad and wandering what just happened. Jessica Wood does an awesome job telling the story of Olivia Stuart and Connor Brady and Ethan.

Olivia wakes up from a coma and cannot remember anything not even her name. There is a man by her side claiming to be her fiancé but she cannot remember him at all and is a little nervous being around him since she does not know him. Olivia is trying her hardest to remember what her life was like before her accident. Along this Journey, she is staying with Connor her fiancé and runs into Ethan and has feeling for him but is trying to stay loyal to Connor since he claims they were engaged.

Connor Brady is Olivia’s fiancé and is doing everything he can to take care of her and stand by her side through the amnesia and while she was in the hospital. However, does he have other motives for keeping a close eye on her and making sure she does not leave.

Ethan is a guy that Olivia ran into leaving the hospital and she felt an instant attraction to him that she does not have with Connor. Ethan cannot seem to get Olivia out of his head and will do whatever he can to keep seeing Olivia even though she is engaged. However, is there a secret he is hiding from Olivia?

Oblivion has twist and turns you are not sure what is going on in some parts but other parts you are laughing and hoping she gets her memory back and can remember what happened and who Ethan and Connor are.
I give this a five star review it was great and it kept me reading wanting to know what was going on. I recommend you get this book and read it you will not be disappointed.

Loved this book from Jessica Wood!!! lots of twists and turns. Liv has no memory after being struck by a car. Her fiancé Connor is right by her side. loving and patient as she tries to regain her memories. Then in walks Ethan. he seems to always be there when Liv needs a knight in shining armor. but as with all Jessica Wood's books all is not as it appears!!! full of romance and secrets and an ending that had me stunned!!! 5 star read!!!

I absolutely loved this book! Sit back and get ready for some bombshells that you don't see coming. Things aren't always as they seem. Oblivion by Jessica Wood will keep you wondering and questioning what you would do. I could not put this book down. It is a definite five star read for me!

What would you do if you woke up in the hospital with no memory of who you are or what happened to you? That's exactly what happened to Olivia. Olivia woke to a stranger in her room that said he was her fiancé. Connor was handsome, rich and seemed to dote over her. Olivia was in for lots of surprises.

While waiting to leave the hospital, Olivia literally falls into the arms of yet another stranger. He was bad boy handsome in his jeans and worn leather biker jacket. Olivia felt an unexpected connection to the stranger. Ethan came on strong and had no problem telling Olivia exactly what he thought about her.

Connor showers Olivia with gifts but can't give her what she really wants – his time. Connor always seems to put his company first.

After continually being disappointed, Olivia finds herself running into Ethan, the stranger from the hospital. He just has a way about him that makes her smile.

Olivia wants to feel for Connor what she thinks she should, but those feelings just aren't there. She is torn between the man she's supposed to marry and the man who makes her feel alive. Who will she choose?

This book is great and full of full photo demonstrations. Many people say you can not learn martial arts from a book, but with this book you can because it is so detailed. I actually bought this book because my instructor recommenced it to the class for learning. It is truly a great learning tool!
