Good content, but overpriced

Relative to other technical Java books, this is overpriced. This would be a good value at $20-$25.

Pros:
-Most of the content is useful, especially if you have little exposure to nio.

-If you already know java.io.*, you can probably finish this book in less than 2-days.

Cons:
-If you already know java.io.* and have experience with apache-commons-io (or google-guava), the first half of this book will feel rudimentary/redundant. (This might be oracle/sun's fault because a lot of nio's changes were taken from apache-commons-io/google-guava)

-The larger font makes you feel like you are getting more, but it's only 10-chapters.

Another Great Book!

Loved this book! I love how the author has two people find each other and they are very different but yet are meant to be. The saying opposites attract is very true in these books and I think that is what makes them so interesting to me. Each one that finds each other helps the other one with their faults by lifting them up and making them realize they are loveable no matter how they look. Looks are not everything and in these books that is so true.
Kal and Sal are different in so many ways. Kal is the dominate one and Sal is the submissive but both want to please the other one any way possible so that they both are happy. The author gets your attention with the main characters and then slips in some other trouble that has to do with Kal and Sal but they are not the only ones involved. Angelique Voisen's books keep me guessing up until the very end and that's why I keep reading them. There is love and problems throughout the entire story but you just are not sure how it's going to end.
I will keep reading Angelique's books because I just can't get enough of her writing about these fantastic wolves shifters. The wolves of New Haven is one series I just want to keep reading.

Ketogenic Wolf is the seventh book in the New Haven Wolves series by author Angelique Voisen. I felt this book is a good stand alone plus a great addition if you are a follower of the series. I love how Ms. Voisen gave us a really great back story for Kal. I really wanted him to find family, and love. He really deserves it. He is ruthless, kind, loving, and is the man you want as your friend. He loves his brothers and when he gives his heart he does it with all that he is. True Alpha hero type.
Sal now he did not have such a great build up. When we meet him he is in a meeting to lose some weight. His insecurities make him question weather or not he should be with Kal. For as hard as he makes Kal work to be with him, Sal really is just scared of risking his own heart to love. At the end he did come around and finally be the mate I really wanted for Kal.
I wished this book was longer mostly because I adored it that much. But for a short story this is a great glimpse into the life of the New Haven Wolf pack. I hope to see many more in the future.

Very Tastefully Selected

All of the stories were well written and the order in which they appeared make you want to have another taste. I feel that Rachel Kramer Bussel does an excellent job of selection when she puts together an anthology. I feel that as an avid reader of Women's Erotic Literature, that more males should partake of this genre as women seem to have a real knack at writing erotic, and this is a good book to begin with. I have read stories by many of the writers included here and would recommend them all. A lot to learn between these pages.

A mature investigation of Medicinal Cannabis

As a patient I have learned a great deal from from Chef B's new book. It bypasses all the stereotypical stoner cliches' and approaches the subject matter with the seriousness and respect those using cannabis for medicinal reasons deserve. The book contains historical, scientific and culinary information that may be unknown to those who have inadvertently found themselves ill and in need of pre-western plant based medication. The recipes are a delightful supplement to Derek's YouTube cooking show. Don't think you're only getting the played out pot brownie but rather there is a pantheon of varied foods for those who must medicate often and do not wish to have a one note diet. What impressed me most was the subject of juicing non-psychoactive / non-decarboxylized cannabis leaves for continued health maintenance. As a long term patient I was surprised to find out something I was completely unfamiliar with. Pros and neophytes alike will enjoy Nature's Pharmacy.

(Clix Hemp from youtube) -if you can get past the many spelling errors and the grammar mistakes this book is pretty awesome. What I respected most about it is how it listed cannabis as a possible treatment for "premenstrual syndrome". When looking around in the cannabis community there is very little discussion about woman, their periods, and medical cannabis as a treatment. Mostly because when looking for a treatment for pain relief or an ease of mood swings women are only recommend strictly on hormonal treatments and later on if worsened, surgery. Even though the description was brief it had said more than enough. This book gave me a lot of information on natural remedies for the use of the raw plant as oppose to just getting high. It opens up options rather than just trending and I really liked that about it. It was a great purchase and a great read overall. It opened up my eyes to new possibilities and even a bit of hope for future treatment.

I found Dereks book to be extremely informative and very helpful. Empowering to say the least. I've a son with a seizure disorder where he loses consciousness for up to 6 hours at a time and i also had a sister die from a seizure disorder. I know this will work thanks so much Derek for the great book and video links. I wish i had known this before to help my sister and friends who have passed from seizure, cancer and blood disorders. Can't wait for your next book. Thank you for helping people care for themselves.

I believe that a lot of these New Age Spiritual Teachers do not have a large enough Spiritual container / paradigm - and as a result are teaching the Law of Attraction in ways that are not Loving.”

Robert Burney's books bring light and revelations to the deepest darkest secrets of the world and what has been holding us back from true happiness love, joy, and peace. I was a devout Christian for many years and I still am but now my relationship with God has become much more personal and real. I am no longer listening to a lot of what the Christian teachers have been or were teaching in the churches or on television because a lot of what was being said was twisted and coming from blind, wounded codependent hearts. Jesus said "you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free." If you want to truly know, feel, and understand truth, you will find it in his books.
